The bill responds to the Chinese government\u2019s ongoing atrocities against Uyghurs and other Turkic peoples in Chinese-occupied East Turkistan.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Key Provisions of the Uyghur aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Specifically bars the sale and use of Chinese seafood in Department of Defense facilities due to its documented links to Uyghur and North Korean forced labor.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Survivor Support<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authorizes medical and psychological assistance for Uyghur, Kazakh, and other Turkic survivors outside China who have suffered:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: support the preservation of Uyghur language, culture, and religious practices, all of which are being deliberately targeted by the Chinese Regime.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Counter-Disinformation Mandate<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Requires U.S. agencies to identify, expose, and counter Chinese state-sponsored propaganda that denies the Uyghur genocide or misleads the public and international institutions about the scope of human rights abuses.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Justice and Accountability Measures<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provides support for the documentation of atrocity crimes to aid future international or domestic prosecutions, including the collection and
