No more camps

China must close all concentration camps and release all those unjustly held.

Religious freedom

The  government  of the People’s Republic of China must grant freedom of religion to Uyghurs and the Turkic Muslims according to the Article 36 of the Chinese constitution which says that citizens “enjoy freedom of religious belief.”

Family respect

China must respect families by not taking away children and not inserting Chinese men into Uyghur family homes.

The below are some action items to take.

Call on companies to stop using Uyghur forced labor

Inform and engage your local masjid or faith center

Organize presentations and fundraisers

Use social media to amplify stories

Boycott Chinese made products– do not be complicit in slave-labour

Encourage and promote fairer trade and commerce with Muslims and others rather than China

Build alliances with all people of conscience to demand a cessation of China’s oppression of all faith groups, be it Muslim Uyghur, Hui, Christian or Tibetan Buddhist

Inquire about Uyghur diaspora members in your area. Organize to help out orphans, widows, and students

Pressure governments to provide legal protection to Uyghur refugees-exiles by either citizenship or refugee-asylee status. Stop the “extradition-repatriation” of Uyghurs to China!

Get your universities-endowments to divest from China. Raise awareness about Chinese espionage and hired guns in academia. Demand academic and financial support for Uyghur scholars and students. Request more academic attention and funds for Central Asian, Uyghur, Turkistani studies.

Donate to end Uyghur Concentration Camps

Open Consulates

Open consulates in the East Turkestan regional capital of Urumchi that will permit a closer monitoring of human rights conditions in the region.

Use the GMA

Use the “Global Magnitsky Act” to take action against the Chinese officials complicit in human rights violations.

Call on China

Call on China to immediately release all internees that have been detained in camps.

Establish Coordinator

Establish a “Special Coordinator for Uyghur Affairs” for any current and future issues.
